How is ReserveSit different from OpenTable, Resy, or similar platforms?
ReserveSit is sold as a one-time software license you keep. Public marketing on this site avoids quoting competitor pricing that can drift, but the core difference is ownership instead of recurring reservation-software fees.
What's included in the managed hosting term?
Managed hosting includes the hosted restaurant instance, backups, security updates, monitoring, SSL, and email-based support channels.
What happens when the included hosting term ends?
Core and Service Pro start managed hosting renewals in year 2; Full Suite starts in year 3. Your software license remains valid even if you stop managed hosting. If you do not renew managed hosting, self-hosting is the supported continuation path; continued ReserveSit-hosted service is not promised outside an active hosting term.
Can I self-host ReserveSit on my own server?
Yes. ReserveSit supports self-hosted deployments, and the software license remains valid if you choose that path.
Can I try ReserveSit before buying?
No sign-up required. Opens a private two-hour demo session seeded with sample data. Public guest-booking flow for the sample restaurant.
How does setup work after purchase?
Provisioning starts automatically after purchase. Hosted customers receive their dashboard URL, login credentials, and setup email after the environment is created.
What POS systems does ReserveSit support today?
SpotOn is the live POS sync currently marketed on this site. Square and Clover connection work exists in the product but is not claimed here as a public rollout, and Toast remains pending partner approval.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Upgrade checkout only charges the one-time license difference between plans.
Does ReserveSit support SMS notifications?
Yes. SMS is included in Service Pro and Full Suite, and available as an add-on for Core.
Can guests book reservations from my website?
Yes. ReserveSit includes an embeddable booking widget for guest booking and self-service reservation changes.
Is there a per-cover or per-reservation fee?
No. ReserveSit pricing is a one-time license plus optional managed hosting renewals after the included term.
What kind of support is included?
ReserveSit supports customers through email and the customer portal ticket flow. The marketing site does not promise chat support or a fixed response SLA.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Custom Domain Setup is available as a one-time add-on.
Does ReserveSit handle deposits and payments?
Yes. Stripe Connect is used for deposits, event payments, and card-hold flows.
Is my data isolated?
Yes. The product provisions a restaurant-specific environment and database rather than pooling multiple restaurants into one shared tenant.
